Since 2010, he has been actively involved in training athletes. As a host parent, he welcomed and supported three young men from different parts of the world, helping them achieve their dreams through basketball. One of them, Akintoye Ojo, who stands at 6’11”, earned a basketball scholarship to Manhattan College. He played in the NCAA Tournament, reaching the Sweet Sixteen. After his basketball career, Akintoye pursued further education, earning a master’s degree. He now resides in New York. Another player, Chinedu Ekwu, standing 6’8”, received a basketball scholarship to Davidson College. Over four years, he became an essential part of the team, averaging nearly 5 points and 4 rebounds per game. After graduating, Chinedu moved to Washington, D.C., where he continues his journey.
